Crimson High
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android
When Ren (or whatever you decide to call him) is assigned to investigate a murder at Crimson High, he expects to face some challenges. However, he soon realizes that the school's secrets are far more complex than he could have ever imagined. And with a cast of quirky characters, including some adorable girls, Ren's adventure was only just beginning.
Join him on his quest to solve a murder case and find himself, all while trying not to get distracted by the cute girls around him.

Important to note:
Crimson High is a story-focused game, first and foremost.
For those of you interested, here's a list of some fetishes I'm confident I will add eventually (in no particular order; non-exhaustive):
- Objectification
- BDSM (not sure to which degree yet)
- Edging/Teasing
- Feet
- Spanking
- Role playing
- Impact Play
- Dom/Sub Relationships
- Voyeurism
- Anal
- Free Use (as in the free use kink (google it), NOT sharing LIs with others)
- probably a bunch more that I can't think of right now
Just for the sake of it, here's also a list of fetishes that won't ever be in the game (again, no particular order; non-exhaustive):
- NTR/Cuckolding
- Scat
- Urination
- Pregnancy/Lactation/Breeding
- Vore
- Sounding
- Age play
- Female domination
- CBT
- probably a bunch more that I can't think of right now

WHY AM I PARANOID OF THE CHOCOLATE? IS IT EVIL!? DEVE IM SCARED TO GIVE IT OUT BUT I THINK ALL THE GIRLS DESERVE TREATS!
For the update: great stuff, ngl you had me for a second with the elevator bit, I'm glad the update didn't end there.
Also, like everyone else right now, I hope this censorship bullshit doesn't get in the way of your work. CH is one of my favorite games and I'll jump through whatever hoops necessary to continue enjoying it!
I can no longer support over on Patreon cause they screwed me over. If you decide to get a subscribestar, I do have an account there. Also, due to the bullshit the card companies are doing and we can no longer access the adult sections here unless you're following the Devs. Will you be posting the free version links in discord? I mean most of us will already know when the free versions are up cause of following you. I really am enjoying this game and I don't want to lose out. I will have to delete some of the other games I'm playing as well cause I'm not following them and won't know when new versions are up.
I love your game, do you have a DC server?
Glad you do! And yeah, here: Discord
I'm distraught that you decided to end the update at THAT moment. 10/10 for making me feel thay way about your story. Absolutely delighted to wait for more!
Happy to hear it, and sorry for the feels!
Ok… the outcome of the talk with Kana was… expected but hurtful… And Nene… Ah, Nene is simply too cute…. And Aki, well, Aki too, poor thing…
When Touka is mildly annoyed that half her class is missing and blames the MC, she shares a pic showing she's mildly annoyed, with someone in the background. Wonder who the unknown teacher is that noticed Touka sending the pic and decided to say hi?
Just about to meet Nene and Nagisa with their "Dad", figure by the time I get through everything the 43 update will be ready for us poor folk! Probably won't happen, but I'm waiting for Kiri to lash out at the MC because she clearly hates him!
One question while I think about it, how close (or not) are you to finishing CH? There's quite a bit already, but there's things unresolved (getting rid of Junichiro, finding out whoever mystery lady is that is searching for an artifact) so that makes it feel like you still have a lot planned!
Heh, we've seen the teacher lady around before. :P
Maybe if you read every word very carefully, you'll be able to stretch the remaining content until next Sunday :D
I think you're gonna like one of the SpaceHamsters in the next update, going by this comment. Provided you look for them, of course lol
As for how close I am to finishing CH: Yes.
My best guesstimate would put the game at somewhere over 60% of its planned content. There is still a good amount of stuff I have in store, as well as all the unplanned things that will happen along the way. I assume that CH will continue getting new content for at least two more years. :)
Oh, I'll look for the Hamsters, it's a fun little side thing, and I'm curious now! Got to the end of current content, so just gotta wait till Sunday and search for those little guys!
Did something happen on itch? My feed suddenly dropped all the games I downloaded here and searching for Crimson High didn't show up on the results, plus "games like CH" is now totally empty. Was there a purge or something? (Thank goodness chatting here allowed me to find this game when the search didn't)
Sunday is almost upon us!
Yeah, itch.io shadowbanned adult content and apparently even outright removed some games from the site. Meaning you won't find any adult games through the search function anymore and can only get here and other places via direct link. So, if you (and everyone else) wanna stay up to date on the game, I'd recommend either a follow on Patreon (free of charge; sends you emails whenever I make a post) or to join the Discord - I generally post more on both platforms anyway.
It sucks, but there's not much any of us can do about it. Apparently it's payment providers having sticks up their collective asses again. Cause sex and everything involving it is a really bad thing. Not like all of us were made that way or anything.
Either way, for the time being, I'll keep uploading and posting on here as well, though I can't promise for how much longer I'll keep doing that, seeing as there's virtually no new traffic to be gained from this site itself. My energy may be better-spent somewhere else.
(Using this comment to inform any passersby, hence the drawn-out reply :D)
Decided to replay before the new update comes out and I'm still so impressed by how well written all of the characters are. Keep up the incredible work!
Thanks, mate!
Yo! Just finished reading the 0.43 update.
Loved it as always. Little sad about Kana, hoping that will work out in the end. Probably worked out the best way it could for now though if I think about it.
I think I found a spelling mistake for you too. May have already been reported but I will do so here just in case it hasn't. Its in the scene with Suzu, Ren and Miko at Mei's restaurant. The following line:
Ren: 'Some might say this is egoistical of me - and in a way they would be right, too...'
I think you meant egoTistical.
Anyways, it was lovely to see Suzu and Miko getting along so well. Miko doesn't have a jealous bone in her body... she's just pure compassion, isn't she?
But then her name is Miko, which if I'm not mistaken is the word for Shrine Maiden...
Also seeing progress towards Rai and Reina finally having their moment was awesome. I kinda suspect Lillith might make an appearance when it finally happens though...
So much happening in this update!
Anyways, have a good one mate.
Heya! Glad you enjoyed the update :)
As for the spelling: No, I did actually mean egoistical. EgoTistical means something different that doesn't quite fit the statement I wanted to get across.
Generally, "egoistical" is roughly synonymous with "selfish" - as in putting one's own needs above those of others.
"EgoTistical", on the other hand, is closer to "conceited" - as in thinking too highly of oneself.
While "egoTistical" could apply, seeing as you could argue that one has to think rather highly of themselves to want more than one partner, I feel like it's closer to being greedy than to being conceited. And greed, as we know, is pretty selfish in nature.
At the same time, though, I'm aware that "egoistical" is not as commonly used in colloquial English, and that most people default to "egoTistical", no matter the actual meaning.
You could, of course, argue that that's how language develops, and that the meaning of the word has changed through common usage to the point where it is the correct word here - and you would be right, too - but to that I say: Meh, it's just words. I like "egoistical" better. :P
I hope you don't mind my little explanation above. I don't mean to be a smartass, but my choice of the word was very deliberate. :P
Miko really has no jealousy in her, yeah. I really like that about her, too. All she ever wants is for everyone to be happy, and she has no reason to believe that that couldn't happen in a polycule.
Lilith will definitely get her moments to "shine" eventually. Whether that is during Rai's and MC's meeting.. well, we'll find out :D
Wow, thanks for the schooling! Lesson learned.
You're welcome :P
Replaying from just about the start, partially to see how many things in the background I can spot (like cute pictures of Miko!) , and to get to a certain spot for a save point - just before meeting Aki when she tries to kill the MC. You really put little gems in throughout the game if we bother to check the backgrounds!
Curious on one thing though, some of the characters seem to have one scene then that's it, yet they are still mentioned in the character sheet, like they are important. Will Airi Anzou and Runa Daishi have more appearances down the road? Both are definitely cute enough, but they seemed more like one-off characters. Runa's line about the special, thinking the MC meant drugs, was both funny and makes me wonder how many people ask Runa for drugs when they ask for a special...
I'd love to hide even more little things in the backgrounds, honestly - it's one of my favorite things to do. But I also have to balance that with how much time it takes. As fun as those details are, they can be surprisingly work-intensive, which adds up and slows down update releases.
As for the girls - you're right. Characters like Airi and Runa are more or less one-off appearances, and there are no current plans for them to return in major ways.
That said, the reason they exist at all is simple: without them, the world would feel empty.
Take Runa, for example. I could have used a generic silhouette character for her, and I actually did for her dad at first. It would've technically worked — but the scene would've had less, well.. character.
In general, you can think of most of the side girls in Crimson High as extras. They help support the main cast and make the world feel alive, but they’re not all meant to have larger stories. In fact, most of them won't be getting any lewd content, either.
The number of girls that actually matter is a lot smaller than it may seem at first glance.
Important to note, though: The distinction of whether a girl matters or not is not at all set in stone. It can (and will/already has before) change over the course of the story. Sometimes a side character surprises even me :P
As for why they're listed in the phone's character sheet: it’s mainly to help players remember who’s who, especially if they’re referenced again later. With a cast this large - and many of them having Japanese names - it can be tough to keep track, especially over the course of several years. Even core characters like Miko and Suzu get mixed up sometimes, so I figured having a reference is better than leaving people wondering "Wait, who was that again?" :)
Edit: Typo
I'm a little surprised that those kind of things are work-intensive, but then I'm not a programmer so don't know how long it takes to put "Kuro was here" on a blackboard, Emica's eyes being different, or posters of Rai Ghoulie.
Regarding the girls, I understand that, world-building can be a challenge and you want to make sure it's not too sparse. Taking Aya as an example. sure she doesn't have much screen time, and you could probably get rid of her with no real change to the story... but you'd miss out on some truly funny moments!
It does sound strange, doesn't it? But take the "Kuro was here" for example: It's not just opening a text field and then typing it in - that's sadly not really feasible in the program I'm using. Instead, what I have to do is to open up Inkscape, create the text in there, with all the shadowing and whatnot, export it as a .png file, then import that into Koikatsu, put it onto a plane object, find the right dimensions, and finally, play around with the shaders until it seamlessly blends in with everything else. Now, even that isn't a ton of work - especially, if you've done it a few times like I have. But it's still about 3-5 minutes of work for a simple bit of writing in the background. And like I said - those add up.
Exactly, that's my thinking! Yeah, some of them really don't add too much, but it's still nice to have them there - if only to add some flourish. And that's basically what they are. (Unless they turn out to be extremely loveable characters that I elevate to a more significant status within the story :P)
I know you
Im not sure if im the only one with this problem, but I downloaded update .42 on my mac and for some reason when I play it still has me on .41. I have attempted to reinstall update but it does not seem to help. I did a quick look at other comments and didn't see anything, but I could have missed something. Anyone else having this issue?
I haven't heard of a similar issue from anyone else. Could be a corrupted extraction - try unzipping the update again, or if that doesn't work re-downloading the Mac version.
Ok, so the Itch app does the old version, but when I go to the file itself and play, it works just fine.
Delete the old version, but moves saves to new folder before deleting.
Wonderfully detailed and inventive story. Thanks! (I'll see you over on Patreon soon!)
Thank you! Not gonna lie, when I saw the notification for your comment, your username made me expect that I had to delete another spam bot message :D
Sorry about that ... just figure no need to give hackers any clues about me if they pick something up in a breach. And at this point I'm starting to believe that everyone is breached sooner or later ...
I really do like your attention to the story though ... and the art is great too. Like having someone tapping their fingers in the background, or any of the other small touches you put in beyond what is the norm.
Ended up buying with a bit of a bonus, as I have card problems with Patreon. Still worth it though!
Heh, yeah, that's probably a smart move. Bad actors are everywhere nowadays.
Thanks, I'm glad you like it! And thank you for your support - Itch.io is, of course, just as helpful as Patreon in that regard! Much appreciated :)
I love adding those small details - I feel like they are what bring the world to life. I wish more people would do it, but I also can't fault them for not doing it, because it is a considerable amount of extra work for what some may consider pointless things that don't add to the story/content. But yeah, I love 'em, and I'll keep adding 'em :P
Might as well ask this, because a few others have done this and it's rather annoying when it happens. No indication you are doing this but... will this suddenly become "you will need to purchase to proceed further"? There hasn't been any indication you are, but two other devs decided it would suddenly be paid only for future updates.
Onto more enjoyable topics! Will Perrine sneak out to visit her cousins for a day, then return as if nothing happened? Will Aki, Miko, Suzu, and Nene play a round of poker with the winner getting to kiss the MC anywhere she chooses? Will Jumichiro be found dead in the park, from what looks like someone going crazy with a baseball bat? Will Nao swing by the convenience store when the MC is there and Ino spends 15 minutes saying how great the MC is to Nao? Will Suzu model for the MC? (OK, OK, these are just wishes, all of them are far enough out there expect Suzu modelling that I wouldn't expect you to actually implement any of them)
Ah, no. Crimson High will stay free to play indefinitely. While I can see how one could get tempted to add a paywall, I personally think it's a bad business model, and something that instantly and irreversibly turns me as a player away from a project.
Do I think my work and especially my consistent and reliable output deserves more, especially when compared to some of my.. let's say less motivated colleagues? Sure, yeah. But I don't think forcing people to pay to be able to access updates is the way to go. Either people recognize and cherish the game for what it is, or they don't and I gotta do better with my next project.
The only thing I will say is that I may add optional paid content at some point. However, that will not be in any way restricting the main game slash story. If anything, it will be something that enhances the experience in some way.
I do have some ideas already, too, but I have yet to decide if I actually want to implement them in CH or keep them for a future project. And like I said, they won't be in any way detrimental to the current, free to play experience, but rather just an optional bit of flavor for whomever wants it. Think cosmetic/soundtrack DLC for games on Steam, or the like.
As for your wishes.. well, all I can say to them is: maybe? :P
I didn't think you were, honestly. It's just that when I really love a game and the dev says "from this point on, it's gonna be paid only" I get a little paranoid about other games that I love and hope they aren't gonna follow suit. There's been a few games that are "latest version is X, but that one is a paywall. If you want to still play it, here's the previous version free of charge" - so you won't get the latest stuff but still have fun. I don't mind that so much, because it's been that way from the beginning. The "pay if you want to keep playing" (or free to play, but you have to pay to win) are the ones that bother me.
As far as the wishes go, I realize you probably get a ton of "you should add X, it'll be so cool!", just means that we really like it!
Yeah, I get that. It's always a bummer when that happens. But worry not, that ain't gonna happen with CH!
I do and it's always disheartening to have to let people down, but I still appreciate all of the suggestions. And, of course, there's always the chance that one of them serves as a source of inspiration - happened before and will happen again, so thanks for sharing :)
yandere /stalker content maybe?
Maybe?
Food for thought,id love to see your interpretation of that kinda sick passion tho
Let's just say that I do find the yandere archetype kinda intriguing when done right
gotta repeat myself here, something to think about but id LOVE to see your perspective of that archetype in this or one of your future works :)
Heh, I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for your curiosity :D
I'm worried about Kana too. I assume that's who you're talking about.
While id love the idea of kana crashing out and somehow kidnapping mc, it wouldn't make alot of sense with the already established plot and her character. I mean one of the many other wonderful characters can (mainly the more powerful ones or ones we dont know all that well yet)
Choices actually matter?? Are there any different outcomes depending on ignoring some girls??
While I can't speak for every choice, they do matter in some ways. If you take the panties in the beginning, and if you look into Mariko having sexy time or not, those choices do affect things down the road. Also, some choices will result in "search for hamster" or not - one of the choices results in sexy time with your valley girl friend and the other results in search for a hamster. Not sure about ignoring some girls though.
I was thinking it must be too much to ask form a VN to have different main plot routes but at the same time I am a bit surprised how the MC must fall in for Suzu and forget about Miko for a while/a few day that is
This AVN is not the strongest candidate for 'choices matter'. You can avoid lewds with some of girls and avoid a scene of dialogue or two.
This is very common for AVNs.
Personally I don't think its too much to ask for choices to matter in more than just lewds but it would increase the complexity of the programming and story, probably to the point that Dev time will jump up immensely.
For me Crimson High is great because of the characters and the story but also because it has an extremely fast Dev time and the Dev is very reliable.
So I would vote against that change.
You would vote against what change NOW?
I would vote against changing Crimson Highs current progress. I think its more important to keep the 4-6 week dev times on the release than to integrate more freedom of choice.
Its unusual for me to say that that but there it is.
But then most AVNs have a 6+ month cycle on their releases, so there is nothing to lose by asking that they add in more choices. They are already slow after all.
And did I say anything about making changes?
I'm sorry. I think I have somehow offended you.
I will stop talking now.
I realize it's kind of a throwaway line, but if you tell Miko that her Mom is having some sexy time, Mariko says a little later it's like the MC's Mom having sexy time, and he says "I wouldn't know, Mom died when I was a baby", and Mariko says "this is awkward, how can I make it even more so? Maybe show pics of Miko as a kid..." and now I'm wondering how cute Miko was as a kid!
Gotta wonder, when you intend to have another scene with Emma (the exchange student) and if you plan on having another scene with Morrigan, if only to act as a foil to Kuro's silliness!
There's actually a picture of Miko as a kid in Mariko's dining area. I think it's visible in at least one scene - probably after Mariko teaches MC how to cook. :P
Emma will take a hot minute, but Morrigan we'll see again very soon! (think v0.44 soon :P)
also just as a side note from observing the release schedules and public releases it takes around 50-ish days for the next update to start arriving? am i correct on this people who have been here longer than i have? just curious because i am totally not going to count the days til the next update because i can totally wait for it hehehehehh:|
It's usually 5-6 weeks per update. Last update was a bit of an exception since I decided to keep going with the writing for v0.43 (the upcoming update) instead of making it the usual length, and with the way I work (I finish writing for the very next update before rendering and releasing the current update at the time), that ended up extending the development time for v0.42. :)
alright thanks, like i said was totally not planning on counting down the days til the next update:)
Totally :P
Hey do you like write a lot? It seems to me that you do like to write a lot and focus on the relationship building part as well as the world set
I do enjoy writing quite a lot, yeah. The way I think of CH reflects this pretty well, I'd say: In my eyes, the game isn't a porn game, first and foremost, but rather a romance visual novel with supernatural elements.
However, I do think that every good romance novel should include sexual themes, seeing as sex is a normal part of real life romance (with exceptions, of course). So, writing about love but ignoring sex seems kind of silly to me. Hence my making CH into an adult visual novel with the focus on the "visual novel" part, rather than the "adult" part.
But fret not, there will be a good amount of adult content in the game, too.
And it seems I was right about you. I, too, enjoy that aspect of romance VNs not that I would mind sweating through well cared custom H scenes. Intimacy takes time and effort so, I do love how you look at it, thank you for the CH. And Thank you for the inspiration.
oh my fucking god the new 0.42 kagome content is fucking HILARIOUS, the faces she makes time after time r priceless XD
and now finishing off the rest of the update to sum up the ending cliffhanger: fuck
sooooo yeah cant wait for the next update! keep up the great work vertigo!
Love her spit takes and her tendency to say "fricking" since she's so flustered!
fricking indeed my friend fricking indeed:)
Y en spanish para cuando?
Algún día, algun día xd
what is the the song called when Suzu is watching tv?
It's "Where You Are Now" by Alex Beroza!
why is there a dick made of bread during the picnic?
Did...... Did our sweet adorable Hina just fuckin consume some poor cactus lookin dude??????

I wasn't quite able to reproduce this on my end, but fixing it should be as easy as copying this variables.rpy file into your /game folder.
Thanks for the report.
The new file fixes the bug.
Ghm, it looks like there was one more condition to trigger the crash. You need to scroll back to previous scene at least one time before trying to click the phone with enabled self-voicing.
My take aways for this update:
1) I need to replay the game again to confirm if Kagome always had that much cake.
2) I'm glad Miko and Suzu are already in protective custody.
Sadly I cannot open the 0.42 version. But it did something new also: normally the downloads just places themselves as executables in the 'downloads' folder, this version made an extra folder and placed itself in there.(Encountered this a few times before with other games. At those times I just stopped following those and deleted them all together. But if possible, I would like to continue with CrimsonHigh).
Did you make all the characters and scenarios/places with Koikatsu party?
Yep, that's correct
Wow talk about leaving things on a cliffhanger!! I just spilled a bunch of secrets to Kagone and Kana, and Kama fled from the revelations... Curious who the "that could have gone better" is (although I have an idea), hoping Kana will be able to forgive me! Are her actions because she realized the MC is seeing others, she's not exclusive to him and she struggled with that?
I need Suzu or Miko hugs. STAT! Edit to add something: Kagome likes to say "fricking" a lot when she gets flustered, doesn't she?
She sure does :P
I think we all knew Kana was gonna take this poorly. Vertigo doesn't torture us, but Kana being cool with the harem idea would've been way too easy.
I knew she wouldn't take it well, but her screaming "I LOVE YOU!!!" and then finding out the MC is more interested in a harem than just her and fleeing in tears really hurt. MC wanted to be transparent, but Kana took it very badly, for sure,
Well hopefully she'll have a talk with her mom and sister... who may very well point out that as vampires, a "normal" relationship was never really in the cards for them.
This is one of my fav avn's ever, keep up the amazing work. I actually forgot most of the avn so gonna replay from the beginning!!
Keep up the amazing work!
Thank you! Enjoy your replay :)
One thing while I think about it, do you ever go back and redo old scenes? Clean things up a bit, reword things, make a given character cuter, funnier, or more badass? Asking because another dev I follow mentioned wanting to redo old scenes because he learned a lot on how to convey stuff better and the early scenes seemed clunky to him now. I don't think you need to redo old scenes, but it might be worth seeing if you think Junichiro needs to be more hateful before you strangle him, Miko needs to be cuter, Kana needs to be more possessive, or Suzu being more adorable!
"wishes it was the 7th already"
Good question. The short answer is: No, I generally don't do that.
The slightly longer answer is: In rare cases, I do go back and rephrase a few lines of dialogue here and there - if they stick out particularly badly.
While I do feel the same as the other dev, in that my early scenes feel very subpar to me, I don't think it's a good use of my time to go back and rework them.
Early-game reworks aren't exactly uncommon in AVNs, but as a player myself - and based on what I've heard from other players - they're generally not received very well, especially by supporters on Patreon and the like.
Sure, it's nice to spruce things up a bit, but for someone who’s already seen the early content, there's little value in slightly enhanced visuals. And new players won't exactly notice the difference if they don't know how it looked originally either.
Now, you could argue that a polished early game might hook more players - especially in a mostly linear VN like CH - and I get the appeal. After all, Junichiro being more hateable or Suzu more adorable could tighten the emotional beats. But in my opinion, it's a slippery slope. You risk sacrificing current supporters' goodwill for the hope of impressing newcomers. That tradeoff rarely pays off in the long run.
The way CH's quality increases throughout the game is a testament to my own journey as a developer. Once the story is finished, I'll have a complete game, as well as a lot of experience to bring into my next project.
Yeah, CH as a whole isn't perfect - I had (and still have) a lot to learn - but that's life, isn't it? No point in fretting over it - especially if it means basically exploiting my supporters' patience and desire for more content, when I could instead just keep going, finish the story, and then move on
I hope this answers your question :P
Also, the 7th isn't that far off anymore :)
You did, thank you! Yeah, the other dev said a lot of the things you are - you don't want to anger your supporters, and while fixing the early stuff might make things better, new players won't notice because they don't know, and supporters and long time players would rather focus on new content. Other dev also said it's more "wanting to fix an early scene so it's less clunky, even if no one notices it". If you redid the checking the crime scene at the beginning, who would really notice?
And I'm mostly just not-so-patiently waiting for the next public release!
Wanting to fix something just for the sake of fixing it, I can empathize with - especially if it's a singular and short-lived "rework" that doesn't put the development on hold for months.
If you're passionate about your project and feel like something is too big of an eyesore to ignore, fixing it makes a lot of sense. You have to like and be able to be proud of what you're making and putting out there, after all. If you can't do that, chances are much higher that you end up abandoning your project or running it against a wall. So, yeah, I totally get that reasoning. :)
While there are a few characters that may speak with British spelling (Takumi, Morrigan, may be Ori), Ren definitely should speak/think with American one.
And no, I do NOT suggest to have different spelling for different characters- just keep it the same for all texts.
Your statement is impossible.
Suzu cannot be any more adorable than she already is.
One cannot make perfection more perfect :P
Facts
i KNOW that damn girl in the poster in the first kiss scene is judging me i just KNOW IT >:(
yeah so GREAT game so far!(i ofc mean nothing negative abt my judging girl comment it is a joke for those who r unaware, have a nice day:)
Poor Kana...
Serious Yandere energy, but still...Poor Kana...
Kagome's scenes were funny and sexy at the same time. She's kinda a muscle mommy isn't she?
Kagome's spit takes made me cack myself laughing though! The look on her face!
Just in case it isn't obvious: Don't click any links in the comments saying that they lead to the "newest version". They are spam bots and the links will give you some nasty surprises.
I'm releasing bees at every one of them I see.
Love all the Hina's Background Adventures at the park~
hina is just adorbs in general, i dont think there was ONE scene that she wasnt adorable and cute in, in fact i DARE vertigo to try to make a scene that she isnt adorable in which i sincerely doubt is possible:)
cant wait to see more of the little cutie patootie
Damn straight!
I've noticed that Perrine tends to call the MC "Mister" way more than his actual name, making me wonder if she's really 19. Then again, she's CLEARLY crushing on him hard, which is why I hope there's some adorable texts between the MC and Perrine. She insisted on knowing the MC's number for texting after all, and likes sitting on his lap...
One thing I really like is that your choices have far-reaching effects. If you "acquire" the panties at the very beginning, it comes back to bite ya quite humorously later, as well as whether you take Mariko up on her offer for blowjobs.
Lol I didn't know taking the panties has consequences! I have never once done it, not my kink.
Still fascinating to learn that it is a thing that can happen!
Just goes to show you how good this AVN is. Sometimes actions have consequences, not just an excuse to see another lewd...
That combined with an intriguing story, wonderful characters and a remarkably fast and reliable Dev honestly makes this the best AVN currently being produced.
Hands down.
Yeah if you grab the panties, when Aki, Yui, and Perrine show up to discuss Aki's trying to kill you and what motivated that, Perrine happens to notice the panties and it goes from a very serious scene to borderline hilarious. First time I played it I grabbed the panties because my train of thought it "there's gotta be some reason for it being available to take, right?" (been playing adventure games for years and years) and it's really interesting how things pan out when you do or don't do something!
Thank you! I'm glad to hear that my efforts aren't in vain :P
She is, yeah. It's just a character quirk, because I find it adorable lol
We'll be getting some Perrine texts and more content of her soon enough :)
Well I find Perrine adorable so it works! I know Perrine is a side character but am glad she will continue to get updates! Just need to wait on that and Jun getting revenge on the old poopyhead (OK, maybe not Jun doing it, but someone getting rid of him). The way he talks and acts, I'd almost say he's part of the Yazuka or something. (Is Yazuka akin to the Mafia? That's what I was going for)
Close enough, yeah. These two groups do tend to get compared a lot. Although a lot of that probably is based on what Hollywood shows about them, not actual facts lol
Anyway, Junichiro (Jun's dad) sure is a likeable fellow, isn't he? :P
As for Perrine - she's one of my personal favorites, so she'll always get at least some content, but as you already said, she is just a support character, so she won't get too much screen time, sadly
Hi there. I had a lot of fun with Crimson High so far. Your writing style is very wholesome and the characters you created are aswell. I really hope you create a epic Claws chapter, cuz Mami is the Best xDDD
Hey, glad you had fun! I try my best with the writing and everything :)
As for Claws - well, we'll see more of her, but she won't ever get an own arc within the game. Mami, as well as the majority of the other non-main cast girls, mainly serves as a supporting character to further the story and to make the world feel alive.
It's unfortunate that I can't give all of the characters in the game the attention they deserve, but I still prefer this over having a world that's either filled with non-descript shadow people or that's completely empty besides the few characters that actually get their own arcs.
Anything more than what I'm currently doing would either require a full team of people working on the game, or would significantly extend the time needed to work on updates. Neither is a good slash viable alternative right now.
I hope you understand. :)
Thanks for your reply. Of course thats okay aswell. Its nice enough for you to answere to such an extend.
Have a good one!
I woke up the other day feeling dreadful.
My sleep had been shallow and restless... filled with a nameless nightmare...
I felt listless and hollow, unhappy. Something was missing from my life.
So I thought... what could it be?! I searched within...
Then the answer came to me!
I was dangerously low on Vitamin SUZU!
9 out of 10 doctors recommend a big cup of Vitamin SUZU as a cure for all ills...
The 10th doctor was shot in the head for his unseemly lack of Suzu worship. Such insubordination cannot be tolerated.
Deus Vult!!
So I DLed CH again and reread the whole thing from the start. Then the shakes went away and the world was a little brighter...
That is the end of my TED talk, I hope you enjoyed it.
I've seen many comments on here going into details, but not one mentioned how Uraha, Nagisa & Nene are on the same bridge that's in the background while the MC sits on the bench after his encounter with Aki.
First game I actually read the lore cuz it's the same writingstyle I have for MCs and the dynamic with their surrounding. Also the visuals are where they should be, keep up the awesome work!
~Also, if ya need help, feel free to reach out ^^
Don't think many have noticed that at all the time going through the story the first time
It's one of the often-overlooked details, yeah. Well spotted!
Thanks, mate. Glad you enjoy my writing. I shall do my best to keep up the awesome work. :P
And thank you! I appreciate the offer :)
Okami is wife material
She's such a good girl! :P
I've noticed that Miri and Nao sometimes have what looks like a claw mark by one of the eyes, but other times doesn't. This a hint they are both Myths as well (Nao might well be, but a valley girl Myth seems a bit...odd), just a fun little addition, or what?
Having played through as much as possible, I would say Okami or Suzu are the most guarded initially. Suzu makes sense, but a little surprised at Okami. Maybe she's just soured because of Ichiro? Friendliest (outside of the twins) is either Miko or Nagisa. Word of the day is "chickle" (even if it doesn't exist!), and most adorable is Perrine!
